This development included a number of unique challenges and opportunities, including:
- A hydraulic model utilising offsite land to fully develop the subject site;
- Negotiating, designing and delivering critical State-controlled road infrastructure to upgrade the primary site entrance at Stapylton Jacobs Well Road;
- Delivery of A-Double access via the National Heavy Vehicle Association;
- Assistance with Body Corporate structure and delivery to ensure high quality industrial development and maintenance of communal facilities;
- Inclusion of an Australia first active recreational precinct and estate wide running tracks; and
- Relocation of a wedge-tail eagle nest within rehabilitated covenant area to enhance the ecological features of the subject site whilst maintaining the most feasible industrial development outcome.
GDP continue to manage delivery of all subdivision, earthworks, civil works and landscaping on the subject site. GDP have also managed various land use approvals for key anchor tenants within the estate, such as Woolworths, National Tiles and Goodyear, including industrial warehouses with over 3.5 hectares under roof and bespoke administration aspects, trade centres and staff facilities.
