Gassman Development Perspectives acted as surveyor, town planner, environmental consultant and landscape architect for this application whereby 56Ha of rurally-zoned land was sought to be ‘rezoned’ under a preliminary approval and place code into industrial land to cater for large industrial land-users. The application was aimed at catering for larger ‘iconic’ users seeking to locate within the parameters of the popular Yatala Enterprise Area industrial hub and its immediate surroundings.
As the lead project consultant in conjunction with the firm’s technical planning, survey, environmental and landscaping functions, we worked with project engineers and external consultants to ensure key flooding and stormwater requirements were addressed. Moreover, traffic impact analyses and liaising with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) was undertaken to ensure the land could be delivered with appropriate staging sympathetic to surrounding uses and road conditions.
